X2 on the junkyard thing. Used springs are not a good idea.
If the perch is broken, they sell repair kits for it that bolt on where the old one was rivited in place. It is possible that you have a broken leaf like I do. I would highly recommend you replace both sides at the same time. There should be a company local to you that does springs.
For example, we have Valley Spring to the North and Island Spring to the south. 4 leaf or 3/1 springs go for about $124 a side and have a 1250# load rating (stock for my truck). They also sell 3 leaf springs or 2/1 with a lower load rating, either 850# or 1050# but I didn't get into specifics since I wanted to stay stock. The 2/1 springs were a little more expensive though...
