I hear that my buddies Dakota had 14 rivets to drill out, they gave me a hell of a time.

Re: Ebay Lift Spindles (review)
I only had one of the lowers give me some problems and a small torch with a large hammer solved it rather quickly. Really didn't even need the BJ press/pull kit I loaned from autozone.

Lucky bastards.
I had to use 3 tie downs to strap my assembly to my tailgate and use a tire iron with a 3 foot cheater bar to get mine out. One of the lower balljoints bent my tire iron. They all had small craters in them from pressing them out.

Re: Ebay Lift Spindles (review)
dang!
the first one i pressed as far as i could and it didn't have enough travel to press all the way (cheap press kit) so i hammered it - then the next one I pb blasted and popped out fairly easy...

Re: Ebay Lift Spindles (review)
Been looking online for driver and passenger control arms. The edge's use symmetrical upper control arms for passenger and driver sides, correct? I looked at mine and they look identical but some pictures online show a funky looking arm for the passenger side, im guessing their using a generic picture that's for coil sprung?
These are what I'm looking for, correct: (moog too expensive for my blood)

Re: Ebay Lift Spindles (review)
Hey OP how is the turning radius now?
Im really tempting to do my lift soon now...
But im still short on cash. And living in Houston i have to make lots of U turns and tight ones as well...
Still unsure if i want to do this....

Re: Ebay Lift Spindles (review)
At first, with just grinding the steering stops off turning radius was complete crap. Did some looking around and went to town on the lower control arms with a grinder and got most of my turning radius back to normal. Can do a u-turn comfortably on a 3 lane road. I'll take some pics of what I had to grind off once I take everything off to replace the ball joints.

Grinding definitely makes it a whole lot better. The wheel n parts one are good as stated before as well.

if you look at the pics closely enough, you can see a tab bit of difference in the bj location...
not even sure that the difference is enough to through caster & camber off too badly, but they are different.

Because for strength tests their products, an ebay company hell even fabtech doesnt. I wouldnt even feel comfortable driving down the road with those, let alone offroading. Pressed in with cast spindle is the way to go, unless you go for a full fabricated spindle. Take an example from camburg.
Also ford doest use what looks like 5-6mm allen key bolts, they use much stronger hardware.

I think you're being too critical. I have a feeling that the doetsch, wheelsnparts, maxtrac, and my spindles all come from the same manufacturer; they're just rebranded. I haven't called to confirm, but like I said earlier these look to be pressed and bolted together. I'll have about 200 miles on them by this weekend and will inspect them once I install all my new ball joints.

they are completely different. Mine look like this. Also doetsch makes their own as i bought them through canuck motorsports and doetsch is the brand i got. The molds are shared for a few brand like fabtech, but they dont share the same manufacturer. The issue on yours isnt the spindle, its the snout being bolted in with 4 most likely grade 5 or less bolts. Honestly, i would have returned those the second i saw them.

Those are the doetsch for coil sprung rangers, correct? The doetsch spindles for t-bar'd trucks, the spindles are bolted in aswell and look different than the coil sprung spindles. Like I said earlier, I don't do much off roading, most they'll see is a speed bump or a backroad.
