need help finding a shock mount and bushing, and how to remove broken mount?
okay i recently obtained monroe reflex shocks (first 6 numbers 911518)
i need new shock bushings because the mount itself on the shock has snapped on both so i need new mounts (or i can use the ones on the current shocks) but im worried that once i take the mount out of the bushing, ill have ruined the bushing. how do i go about doing this??

If it's what I'm thinking, you may have to just fab something up yourself. Otherwise you'll probably need a new shock.
Pics would help though.

It's welding, but just in one spot.

Re: need help finding a shock mount and bushing, and how to remove broken mount?
pretty sure the bushing and cross bar are one piece, so getting it out will be a huge PITA. finding a replacement will probably be impossible

Re: need help finding a shock mount and bushing, and how to remove broken mount?
you can probably use a 'jaw puller' to press it out, or use a 'bushing puller' - i believe they exist, but you could probly buy new shocks for a little more than they cost.
----------
could you set something up like this to press it?
