Default Rear air shocks vs. gas shocks?

I plan on replacing my 2-WD Ranger rear shocks and I also plan to bring the low stock front up to level with the rear. If I went with air shocks in the rear then I could level the truck when there's a load in the rear, but if I went with gas I believe the ride would be better ...any opinions?

gas shock are way better, you could put in the helper air bags if you haul much. the ranger really is not great for hauling all the time

Ok, thanks If I go with gas I'll likely add leafs for rear strength, I'm mostly hauling motocross dirtbikes and occassionally a streetbike or two.
