Default will i need new shocks with DJM 2/3 drop?

With a DJM 2/3 drop, will i need to replace the shocks?

some people run stock shocks, but i got the drop shocks. the stock shocks wont last as long or perform as well because they are not made for that travel.
might as well get drop shocks if you need shocks anyways. get the doetsch tech nitro slammers. ive got them and theyre highly recommended. honestly though, after the drop coils my truck rides like a covered wagon ha.. so a good shock could help with ride quality

Brian is a vendor on here (slammedxonair) and set me up with my shocks. when you order theres a box to put in your truck info and amount of drop and he sends you the ones you need.

i'm about to order a DJM 2/3 and 4 Doetsch Nitro Slammers.

Do i need anything else?

well i see youre from NY so im guessing you'll have some rust underneath like i do. id suggest leaf spring bolts (that go through the eyes,get from ford) (4 total) and leaf spring bushings(4total) (rockauto.com). also rear leaf spring hangers (from ford is best) and get bolt the two bolts that connect bracket to shackle, and shackle to leaf(two each side). you wont need the shackles from ford because they are in the 2/3 kit. and grade 8 hardware to fasten them to frame. also you will need camber bolts up front so you can adjust the camber (4 total, can get from rockauto, they replace the upper control arm bolts). may need new upper control arm bushings too if you take it out. also, we couldnt get the lower contol arm bolts out, so we left them.

hope that helps and makes sense! lol and spray your bolts and such down a week before to get them ready!
