Default Ready Lift torsion key lift?????

Just wondering if anyone has used or heard of someone using the "ready lift" torsion bar design leveling kit. They claim it doesn't put stress on ball joints etc like the other products on the market. Just looking for some feedback on if anyone has used this product or not/good bad? PS any other ideas for my 2002 stepside 4x4 as far as lifts or leveling without a fat price tag.

Cheers.

errrr, that would have to be a false claim. Becuase cranking T-bars lifts the truck, which also increases the angle of the control arm, which puts more pressure on the ball joints. So, unless it comes with longer control arms, its BS.

thats what I figured, if i was to crank the stock keys a little bit will it be bad for my ball joints as well because i have been told cranking the stock keys a little bit is the safest way.

The camber is adjustable. You need to rotate the bolts. When you do this, it pushes the control arm out, taking away the harsh angle on the BJ

Can you please explain this? I am going to put new control arms in bc I need all new ball joints for the front so I would like to do this so I can get a little lift without the angle.

When you remove the upper control arm you will remvoe the bolts that hold it to the frame. These bolts have a large square-trapizoid shape attached washer on them. Installing the bolts with the large end up, to the engine, or away from the engine will move the controll arm in and out.

The camber on these trucks are not like the TTB where you would put them exact to the camber spec.

These trucks basically have 3 positions. When you lift and push the controll arm out, the camber will correct itself.

I still do not quite understand so there is actually two ways you can put the bolts in and correct the angle?
