Default FX4 lvl II

I'm thinking I have some shock wear. The truck seems to be a bit less responsive or not like it was when I first bought it. I purchased it with 30k miles on it and it has 118k now. No major items to be replaced, yet. It's due in to the shop to replace both control arms(upper) and likely all four tie rods and the heater core. The truck sits like / \ causing heavy wear on the tires. My question is, is it worn shocks that may be attributing this or the worn suspension items that are on the list to be fixed? The truck is a daily driver in Corpus Christi Tx and along with the horrible roads I've romped it on the beach through whoops and whatnots which leads me to believe I may have caused excessive shock wear.

Shocks are the stock bilsteins.

TIA.

I wouldnt say thats from worn shocks, id say thats more of a 4x4 hub assembly/bearings being gone or worn balljoint/front suspension.

At 118k the shocks are probably bad. The balljoints are probably bad. Bushings, tie rod ends, hubs, cv's and about a hundred other things probably need to be looked at as well.

Like he said, at that mileage really just about anything up front could be worn out causing you little issues. Like I said for the issue your describing, I wouldnt say its from the shocks but rather hubs, or some front suspension piece like ball joints, tie rods, etc like Cdawall stated
