My 01 dosnt have one... I would really like one. Im used to owning 3/4 tons that have no concept of body roll. so id like to stiffen mine up. plus i do alot of long distance driving and moderate city driving with alot of curves. i just hate the way it feels taking turns.

A rear sway bar off a Bronco II will bolt up to the back.

so basically all sway bars do is:
-limit flex
-worsen the smoothness of the ride
-limit body roll

and taking them off:
-more flex
-smoother ride
-more body roll

correct? so basically take them off?

I ended up taking my front one off the other night, and wow, what a difference. Is there a rear one on a '93?

Almost every single Ranger, Cherokee (XJ) and 1/2-1ton pickup with leafs lack a rear sway bar with the towing package. If that's what you are worried about you are wrong. IMO being leaf sprung makes a sway bar worthless. My 05 never had a rear sway with the factory tow package just like 90% of the other ones. I have towed with and without a front sway and I could tell the difference, but it was not bad it still felt safe and cornered just fine.

im thinking about taking mine off because ever since i put my coil spacers in, when i go over a speed bump my truck makes a loud boom. i think its the sway bar bottoming out the a arm, (if that makes sense? get what im saying?) its like my suspension drops but slams because the sway bars are holding it back i hate it, im talking little speed bumps too, ones with a fast drop.
