Default Rock'n the boat, please help.

Hey all

Does anyone know of a way to reduce/eliminate the side to side rocking my 02 XLT 4x4 does when coming out of my drive at an angle, or taking a turn, or leaning my head to one side, or when a bird lands on one side of the truck. Ok just kidding a little there, but seriously I assume it is something to do with the solid rear axle and the torsion front suspension and it really hampers me quite often. I transport liquids and other items and they get tossed all over the place as out here in toto-land all the roads are inclined/declined for water drainage purpouses. Any help appreciated!

Get some stiffer shocks front and back. Can also get those loader springs (I cannot remember what they are called right now), that mount on top of your leaf pack to stiffen it out. For the front you can crank your t-bars and make the suspension tighter.

If it's that much of a concern, you might want to rethink the suspension lift.
With you center of gravity raised 4", the boat rockin' will be amplified that much more.

like justin said you can get helper springs that just sit ontop your leafpack and make it much stiffer.

Hmm, A few diff. ideas about it.
I guess I'll look into some assist springs or something. It seems most of the rock'n is from the front end. Also good Note about the lift Jay, I have put a couple of things on hold for now with the upgrading and well I am working on getting little annoyances taking care of for now. Like the retarded turn signal stalk that my knee always hits and turns off if I can even get it to go in the first place! Many thanks to STL for the heads up on one I bought it and am just waiting for the time to install. . .
Thanks Guys, I'll post if I can make up my mind.
