Guys I have a 99 ranger 2wd where both rear leaf spring (bumber end) shackle brackets have rusted off the frame and the leafs are up against the bed. I have found out this is a common problem. I did find the kit aftermarket which includes the bolts for about $150.00. The problem is the frame portion (after the shackle mount bracket location) is rotted away. However the portion where the shackle bracket mounts to seems to be okay. Is it worth taking a chance that the frame will withstand a new shackle bracket because some of it is missing. I have 2 pieces of wood to support the leafs so it dont go thru the bed for now. Thanks for your opinions!

I have all the parts you need i pulled my leafs out when the truck was new. pm me if needed.

yes this tend to happen to the ranger along with the rear cab mount mainly on the drivers side.

I bought the kit off ebay for a 1997, but the bushing that came with it dont seem large enough, did you have that problem? Like it was missing a rubber piece to go around the bushing?
