I found removing the sway bar causes it to ride better. Though turns and freeway driving does take some getting used to, and I usually warn new passengers. lol. I like the passengers that are used to turn hugging slammed trucks...Billy's reaction when I took him through a high speed turn was absolutely priceless!! Both hands gripping the oh shit handles, high pitch screamish sound...HAHAHAHHAAHA!

To see if it'll be okay for your tastes, Just unbolt the swaybar endlinks and rotate the bar upwards. No need to fully remove the bar just to see how you'd like it.

If you want a better ride.....what shocks are you running? What tires? Best thing you can do to any vehicle is upgrading tires for both ride and performance.

if your worried about the freeway on ramps and such, go the speed limit posted and you wont flip. it is fun to watch the reaction of the people behind me when i pull into school and go around the traffic circle

I put a bigger bar on mine before I lowered it. It made a huge difference in the handling, and if you think swaying is a better ride, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think flat is a better ride. If you want softer, go with shocks and tires, not the sway bar.

i say ney... why take a bunch of shit off your truck and halfass everything to get it to ride better. i came over here to get away from downey and all his shenanigans.

upgrade your tires and shocks first. ESPECIALLY if you're planning on staying stock and not lifting or lowering.

Ditch the factory block, run the shorter U bolts, and run an extend shackle (if it's set up like a 4wd with the shackle mounted to the hanger at the top of the shackle, rather then the bottom. If you catch my drift. I've never been under a 2wd ranger.)

The shackle will make up for the height lost in the block, help with axle wrap, smoothe up your ride, and will only run you 40 bucks + the u bolts.
