Default Rancho 5000s, KYB, or Monroe

I just bought a Ranger with 214k miles and the shocks need replacing. It's an 2000 XLT Supercab 4x4 with no lift. 99% driving is on the road with an occasional trip to the beaches in North Carolina. Unfortunately I don't have the cash and am having to buy them at Pep Boys(credit card). The three shocks they carry are the Rancho 5000s, KYBs, or Monroe. I see there are mixed opinions on the Monroes, so I was wondering out of the three which ones does everyone recommend. Thanks in advance.

There are a million posts on this.....use the search button.

Ranchos, KYB's, then Monroes, in that order. You get what you pay for so buy what you can afford. Nothing wrong with KYB's in my opinion.
