Re: ranger looks crooked
the springs on that side are probably just worn out. the gas tank and the driver are both on that side. over time, it adds up. maybe look for some springs off a newer ranger at a junk yard?

Re: ranger looks crooked
It could be a shock, but its probably in need of springs and rear leaf springs, how many miles?

Re: ranger looks crooked
it could be shocks, but the springs support the vehicle. the shocks just provide dampening over bumps. might be a good idea to replace the shocks and springs at all 4 corners, it will really help with the ride.

Re: ranger looks crooked
My '99 leans a little twards the front driver's side. I will be
doing the balljoints and shocks soon, and the springs.
Hopefully that will fix it.

Re: ranger looks crooked
Body mounts/bushings...whatever they are called are probably worn out...look under the cab for something that looks like this...the one in the pic is an example of a worn out one that needs replacing.

I would be very interested to see how the install goes. My truck also has the infamous driver side pimp lean.

Re: ranger looks crooked
the thing that bothers me is that my bushings are really like new! The rubber is in great conditions, but the previous ower idiot for some reason remove them, and they did not reinstall them correctly. In fact the rear right bushing is missplaced, just a few millimiters away from its center, so the cab went lower.
as a result, the truck looks awfull and they also, destroyed the bushings (they are torn).
CUT THIS GUY HANDS I SAY!
