Something I'd add:

New soft lines won't be needed if the truck is stock. aka no superlift, no rcd, no spindle lift. I'm superlifted and just have my brake lines unbolted from the frame. Awaiting the day for me to have money for my longer stainless lines and stainless banjo and flare adaptors so I can bolt the bracket back onto the frame.

I'm still waiting for my coilover's, Nick only had the shocks in stock, but no coils. I should be getting my stuff soon. I know jacob is sending my bracket's out sometime this week...so it's getting about that time....lol....

As for the brake lines, me personally (I'm superlifted too) I'm changing mine out to the TJ lines because they are an exact fit, and they add almost 3 inches of rubber line. That way when the coils are at full droop, your not ripping your brake line out. I think you probabley could get them anywhere, I found them online for 17$ at Advance Auto Parts. Haven't really checked anywhere else.

Even for stock trucks, I think I still would look into doing the brake lines, because the coilover's as I said before are going to have more downtravel than your stock setup. So you can check once you get the coilover's installed, jack the truck upslowly and see how your stock brake lines look. If you still have the length then your good to go....I don't wanna give anyone the wrong infol....just being on the safe side. Besides the lines are pretty cheap.

Well as soon as I get something to take pictures of I'll post em....LOL

Get the coilovers from Shadow as well? Are there different coilovers that could be run?

Forgive the noobness on this, but would that work on my suspension as well being stock? I believe I read that you had an SL on your truck. And which spring would be the one to choose?

Contact Nick K over at ORW, he know's the specs on the coilover setup that would need for your "stock" setup. Also check out the "coilover conversion hardware" thread over on RF, it has alot of info in it.

As far as fox shocks for the rear, you will have to also call nick and talk to him about that. I have Bilstein 7100 resi's on the rear axle on my truck. I had to cut the upper shock studs off, and weld new 1/2 studs on because the eyelet of the 7100's were bigger than the OEM studs. Also search on RF about bilstein's resi shock upgrade. John Griggs I believe has 7100 resi's front and back on his ranger.

And I know that's not really a good answer for you, but you have to explain to him, what type of driving your doing, so that way he can "VALVE" the shocks to meet your needs. It's not just a simple bolt up. There is more involved than that.

And as far as spring rate, I went with 750 lb coils. Most guys are running those....800lbers if you have a heavy bumper/winch setup.

Oh by the way the wife just called...BRACKET's ARE HERE!!!! WHOOO HOOO...just waitin on the coilover's now!

Do you have contact info for Nick? I see that ORW has 4 locations somewhat near me.

I'll look at the thread.

Thanks!
