Default Rancho 9000 for my UK Ranger?

As above really?
The road ride on my Ranger is poor - and it definately feels under damped and 'wallowy'! The tyres feel as if they are 'skipping' at speed and not fully in contact with the road all the time!
Now I know that its a truck, and sprung like a truck - I just want it to feel more supple!

Ranco 9000? What do you reckon?

It could be your existing shocks are just worn out. Check with a local 4x4 shop by you, see what Ranchos will match if you choose that route or go with another brand

Get me the part # and the info on the ranchos you want. If you want I will get them locally and ship them to you if I can get them cheaper

thanks
I might have spoilt my chances of a part number this time - I have already told the dealer that they are WAY too expensive! I don't think he will be keen on giving me the information so I can go elsewhere!

I will have another look around!

(If I remember correctly, the Rancho site generates the part numbers if you 'build your own truck'! I will give that a go!)

Thanks again.

I have done a 'build your vehicle' and e-mailed the Tech guys to get confirmation that they will fit my truck. I would hate to take the web information as 100% and find that UK spec shocks are different!

I will keep you posted!

ok, I looked at your sig and called the guy I deal with. The only thing is we arent sure on the uk models and us models suspension setup being different. For the Rancho RS900XL, front shocks, part# RS999229 are 115.00 each, rears part# RS999126 115.00 each as well. He said if you pull the tire, email me a picture of the shocks upper and lower mounts and measure them we can set you up with exacts

yep - those are the part numbers their website came up with too. I will get the camera and the tape measure working tomorrow! (I have a chassis number if that helps your man) (and the plated mass for the axles according to Mr Ford are - front 1430kg, rear 1830kg! I have to say that I have no clue what they are, but they are the only figures I can find! The whole truck weighs in at 1930kg when empty)

Thanks again!
