Default Rancho RS5000 or RS9000?

This summer I'm looking to put new shocks on the ol' pickup, but I'm curious as to which I should use. The price difference is going to be around $200 between them, and with money a little tight I am wondering if it's worth getting the 9000's or if it's ok to just stick with the 5000's. Right now my little truck has just stock suspension an I'm looking for a more smooth ride above anything, it's a daily driver not a hauler.

I installed 5000's on one of my trucks,
They were great!
I never really needed to be able to adjust up to 9 settings like on the 9000 series.
It's a truck! It is never gunna ride like a Caddy!
The price hike was too steep for me anyway

I've got the 5000 on my ranger. Paid under 200 for them. Much better ride on and off road.

Oh I know it's not going to be a Caddy, I am just looking to make it less bumpy when on the freeway or driving around town. I guess I'll go with the 5000's then, if both you guys have liked them and they are half the price, it sounds like a plan! Thanks!

I just replaced my 5000s with 9000s. It was too good a deal to pass-up. 4wheelonline (IIRC) has a set of 4 RS9000XLs for like $320, free shipping, AND $100 mail-in rebate.
Torsion crank, 265's, and crappy-ass roads--seems to ride much better now. 5000s were far from worn-out; I'll put them back on in the winter and hopefully keep the 9000s looking good for show season.
