Default lift blocks

Hi I am looking to add some lift blocks between the leafs and axle on my UK 03 ranger, I have access to a mill and the raw materials arnt a problem but i have noticed on a couple of threads that there is a 2-3 degree rake on the top of the block! HELP please do you need this rake or is it just a block of square/rectangular steel?? any help would be greatley appreciated.......

yes you will need the rake and need the degrees to be set if you want it done properly.
