Default Comfortable?

So at the moment my Mazda has stock suspension and all, but I'm looking to replace the shocks when I get the money. Now I know that nothing I do will make it ride like a Cadillac, but for my 97 2.3 standard cab which shocks would make the drive a bit more comfortable. The truck is not for off-roading or hauling heavy cargo, it's my daily driver and I want it to last for a while in that role.

Thanks for the input!
