I have a Mazda B2300 and I am looking to increase the load capity of the truck. First I was thinking of using Spring Helpers. Does anyone have any experience with these and what do you think.

I also want to get some Heavy duty shocks. Any recommendations?

nothing you can do will safely increase load capacity. ford rates the trucks at a specific capacity based on many other factors, like vehicle weight, frame strength, axle strength, braking, wheelbase, tire size, ect, not just spring rate. adding helper springs will prevent the truck from sagging as much with a load in it but will not increase the amount of weight that the truck can safely haul.

X2 on that, but my dad wanted to increase his bed carrying capacity (2003 Nissan frontier 4 cyl) so he switched his shocks to gas filled (bilstein I think) and added one extra leaf spring on either side. Its a cost efficient way of doing it but again, brakes and etcs won't be up to par with the extra weight you want to carry.

I understand what you guys mean. Basically what I was trying to say was I am trying to reduce the amount my truck will sags when it gets loaded up. So are there any suggestions on heavy duty shocks. And has anyone used the helper springs?

Best thing you can get for that truck is Roadmaster Active Suspension. It increases load capacity to a certain extent and actually improves your ride unlike most helper spring kits.
