Thanks for the help..
My Farther said he probably going to take it to his friend shop and let him do it..
Because we was watching a video on how to do it and it looks like a lot of work... I don't mind doing it because i love doing this kind of stuff. But if he wants to take it to the stop i am not going to stop him

It is good to have questions and not let your pride get in the way then things get messed up

I posted a different video on packing bearings the first one they used a bearing packer instead of the trusty old hand method like in the 2nd one I posted

STL....I made it a little more clear....

'00.5-current 4x4. 98-00 is similar in nature, but the hubs are different, but they do mount to the knuckle the same.

ALL 2wd's Regardless of year. 2wd's are all very similar to whats pictured.

As I mentioned in the very first reply, you need a hub/wheelbearing assy because you have a 4x4, according to your signiture(THANK YOU for having one!!!). And as I said earlier as well, they are spendy. Sealed units, some call it a unibearing(hub and wheel bearing and ABS sensor built into one sealed unit). 2wd's have it nice because their total front end bearings are like $50 grand total because its just bearings.....more labor to do the job compared to the 4x4's which is just bolt-on.

can u tell me where the cv shaft is located?
and also, i dont know much about hub assemblys so can u check this 1 out b4 i buy it?

No brand name...it's on ebay....it's too cheap....your probably getting what you pay for: a crap part that won't last long.

Timkin brand exceeds OEM spec stuff. In my opinion, fix it right instead of using subpar parts that won't last as long...you'll be paying for it sooner than you think most the time. Check out www.rockauto.com's pricing....it's ALWAYS the cheapest even after considering shipping charges.

CV shaft is the driveline that sends power from the differential to the hub and in turn to the wheel. Got two rubber boots on it..can't miss it. Usually looks like your shock hits the CV shafts..but they don't. Pick yourself up a chilton's/hayne's manual for your truck...it'll help you out alot.

May I ask how many miles are on the truck??
