I'm to fat to pose as a rug. More like a speed bump or something.

Do those of you with the traction control bullshit equipped vehicles actually find it does anything?

it does a lot. like get me stuck in mud because it determines i dont need wheelspeed. it kicks in quite a bit while driving aggressively, thanks to open diffs and when entering corners with a slight slip angle

Definitely. Works great. Survived Canadian winter snowstorms with the just the OEM Tires and the traction Control, Never got stuck, it helps keep you truck going fwd as well as keep your tail in a straight line. I wouldnt have gotten the Ranger 2wd if it didnt have traction Control, probably would have gotten a Used 4 cyl Taco instead.

Cool. I know it helped a lot on the crown vic police cruisers even back in the late 90's. Was curious if it actually did any good on our lightweight trucks.

Is it possible that you are spinning the tires fast enough that you are bouncing off the rev limiter? That would cut the power to the wheels feeling like traction control.
