Default rear shocks

my rear shocks need replaced. any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i have never done this before.

Jack up the axle remove the bottom and top bolts reinstall new shock repeat on the other side. Its pretty straight forward not much you can mess up.

You might need to replace the mounting bolts depending on what kind of shape they are in. Since we don't know the age of your truck, assume the worse case and buy new ones. To minimize suspension squeak, you migh want to pick up some while lithium great to lube the bolts where they run through the shocks.
