Default replacing all 4 leaf spring hangers, please help!!

Im currently replacing all 4 hangers, installing new bushings, and shocks. The hangers out back(by the bumper) i have under control. Except the bolts were seized and after trying everything i just cut them. My first question is if anyone can give me a part number, specs, or where to get the bolts. Second question, the front drivers side hanger by the gas tank has the brake line bracket attatched to it, so do i have to cut and weld to the new hanger since it doesn't include it, or can i buy a hanger that doesn't need fabricated? also do ya'll reccomend i drop the tank on this one? the beds already off. I have both back hangers, one front, 2nd should be in tuesday, bushings will be in tommorow. aside from the bolts i had to cut can ya'll think of anything else i'll need? Im hoping this fixes the dog tracking problem it had.

In the middle of the same repair, the parts I ordered came with bushings but they dont look as large as the ones in there, I have a couple of questions maybe you know,

1) have you got an answer on that brake cable mount, same question.

2) how did you get the old bushing out of the leaf spring?

3) ANY suggestions are tips you have for this repair, we have 3 brackets off, doing the last one by gas tank today.

thanks

Question Re: replacing all 4 leaf spring hangers, please help!!

Your 97's should be just like my 94 & 95, and my parkin brake bracket is held in place by the leaf spring bolt.

So your sayin yours is welded to the frame or leaf spring bracket?

Here's how i got mine out. I stuck a bolt in there with a washer about the size of the OD of the steel sleeve and pushed against it. It was pretty effortless this way.

Hopefully last question, when putting front and rear hangers plus leaf spring back on, what order should we do it?

1) bolt front bushing into front bracket
2) righted bolts on axle to leaf spring
3) lift up rear, get rear bushing in shackle?

Thanks

(1) grind all hangers off.
(2) burn out old bushings, its the fastest and easiest way.
(3) replace burnt bushings and bolt new hangers to frame.
(4) make sure to attach leafs to front hangers first, if im right my parking brake bracket bolted on aswell.
(5) attach leafs to shackles. And your ready to drive.
Someone should make a thread for this with step by step and pics. Hangers rusting out is a really common problem with our trucks.

The leaf springs are completely off, so
You did front bushing, bolted leaf spring, lifted up back? Did you have rear hanger bolted on already, it doesn't look like there is enough Clarence.

And do we have to disconnect the shocks, sorry for so many questions but I am so over my head. Lol

We have the front bushings bolted in. Leaf spring is still lose. Next we are going to bolt leaf to axel. That will leave us getting rear brackets on. It looks like we will have to lift read and bolt brackets on and then bolt bushing in? And do we remove the shocks before lifting? Or leave shocks bolted on (they need to be replaced also)

Everything bolted into place and truck drivable. If you do this repair, make sure you have all your parts and ALL the right tools ready to go. I bet finding tools and not just going to buy the sockets we needed added 2-3 hours on this job.

I'm in the middle of doing my front hangers and I can't get this bolt to loosen. I used PB Blaster, heated it up and a 1/2" drive impact won't even budge them. I don't have a cutting torch but it looks like I may have to rent one. I am already done with the shackles. What a PITA this is.
