Lightbulb just some ideas

hi i was board and started doodling on paint on my comp and ended up with this and was wondering your guys' thoughts about this design ex:if you ever saw anything like it, if you think it would work and how well,or any changes that would make it better. bare in mind I'm not the worlds greatest artist lol my design is in the link below

If you have the money and the know how to fabricate it, go for it. I'm not sure if you would need the dual coil overs or not though.

If memory serves, you will need a lateral location bar too but its been a while since I've seen a solid axle set up with coil springs or struts. You might need some more control bars in front than just the two.

ok sweet i was just playin on the paint program on my comp and that came out of it lol would that even be street legal do you know?

you'd have to check with your DOT for canada. something similar to what you drew has been done before, check out the link below. there is less than 1" of side to side axle movement through the travel. weird design, the little air shocks on the back of the axle are to keep the correct pinion angle.

Those pictures show the lateral link I was talking about too. It's the bar that runs from the frame on the passenger side down to the axle on the driver side.

It looks like the shocks that doyouquaxu is talking about perform the same function an upper trailing link would do since the axle appears to be bolted to the trailing arms.

ya that looks good but how would it do with a 2wd at about stock height?
