Default Bump stop clearance?

Alright guys, so my truck likes to throw me around when I hit bumps. I can tell it's maxing out, and when I took a look under the front of the truck, I have very minimal bump allowance between the frame bump stops and the lower control arms. Is this amount of clearance normal? What do you other other stock 4x2 Edge/Sport and 4x4 guys have for clearance? Thanks guys for any insight.

Bump. Anybody who has a similar stock truck to mine care to take a look and see where their bump stops are at?

that clearance is normal. because that bump stop is so close to the pivot point of the control arm, the wheel is actually moving much farther than that because the wheel is on the outside of the arc, furthest away from the pivot point. as for the poor handling, your shocks may be bad or you might have some damaged/ worn suspension components. (ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, stabilizer links ect)

I see. Thanks man! The only bumps it gives me problems on are speed bumps in parking lots, and those big fat black ones they lay in the middle of roads to slow you down. Other than that, the handling is that of any other truck.
