Do RWD Rangers Have "Torsion Bars"?
I was wondering does my 1994 Ford Ranger XLT that is RWD have "Torsion Bars"? I can't find any info to support that RWD Ranger's have torsion bars, but I have found that 4X4 Rangers have them. I'm sorry if my question is dumb, i'm just learning about suspension types.

Alrighty, Thanks, so say if I ever did a suspension lift, how could I level out the front end without longer coils, or the "Donut" leveling kits?

Nothing. Everyone wants to swap to coilovers to get rid of the "crappy" torsion bars, then say how much better they are once they are on. The only difference is the nice shocks that are giving the better ride. A spring is a spring, the torsion bar is just a spring, just like a coil is. Put a nice shock (not a fabtech or white body generic shock) and you'll notice a better ride.

there in the way for off-roading. And they sag way faster then coils. I wish ford would of put coil overs for the edge/4x4's/sports/ xlt's 4x4's.
