Default Frame Cracked

Hey fellas, haven't been here in awhile. So the other day I noticed my frame is cracked right where the rear right shocks mount up, right by the three bolts. Im guessin my truck is screwed? I dont have a picture of it right now, but the crack is opened up pretty good at the bottom bolt, and goes all the way up to the top right bolt.

it should be i dont see why it wouldnt be legal people run around with entire diffrent front ends welded in there vehicles so i dont think one little crack thats been welded in would be illegal

Depending on the condition of the frame, they might have to weld a plate to reinforce that area but it's legal.

Have the welding shop weld up a plate on there. If it were me I'd weld the crack, grind it down, then weld a piece of plate to it, then weld a plate on the other side. Would be pretty strong.

I would just swap out the back half of the frame. There are about 10 rivets holding it together right behind the cab.

----------

The rivets are right where the front cross member is and the front leaf spring mount.
