LOL I had a friend who's car had air shocks installed, but they broke while the front end was extended out, so the nose pointed waay up. and the damned thing was stuck that way. He started calling his car "Big Wheelie"

I found some bolts I thought would let some tension off the torsion bars and lowering the front, but loosening several turns to the limit and tightening all the way likewise did nada. WTF!? Can't see why the front of this truck is so high, or why those torsion bar screws didn't have any effect.

Yup, that's it. Turnt it all the way, both directions, maybe the mech is 'frozen' in place.. Seems to me I should let off all the tension, spray with WD40, and see what a couple miles does (minimal rust). I'll post pix. Nice diagram btw. Thx

if that doesnt work try taking the bolts all the way out and making sure the keys are in correct with the block.

Ok, now. It must have just needed time to let the wd soak in. Bolts loosened up, front-end dropped. I can see the headlites on the road now. Truck rides level. Thx for the ideas and support.
You outta country 'bout now, brother?
