Default cheap lift using f 150 coil springs

Hi ive heard you can put a lift on a ford ranger using f150 coil springs i have a 1988 ford ranger ext cab 2.9 v6 2wd i was just wondering if anyone can tell if this is possible with my truck and if something could give me great detail on how to do this i would appreciate it.

Jack up the truck pull your old spring out put the f-150 spring in get new alignenment bolts, have aligned.

I plan on it sometime within the next week or two. I'll take pictures and do it properly unlike the guy in the link.....used freakin HOSE CLAMPS to hold the spring in place?!?!?!?

What im planning on doing is completely swapping out the upper coil buckets from ranger buckets to F150 buckets so the coils properly seat. At the same time Im going to change my balljoints and install the 3 degree camber bushing that I will need. A "how to" will be in order I believe

Yes, 3 degree alignment bolts SHOULD fix it. I added everything up today though and its just cheaper to get 2 inch lift coils specifically for a ranger
