I wouldnt buy new F150 springs....Cheapest the junkyard will sell them around here is $70...then I need to go to the ford stealership and get new coil buckets and j clips...just doesnt add up...I would have HOURS of labor in swapping out the buckets to make the coils CORRECTLY fit when I can just get ranger lift coils and 3 degree camber bushings...The labor doesnt justify the cheaper option IMO..on TOP of that, you are going to have one HELL of a stiff ride from there on out because the F150 coils are stiffer to support more weight.

Edit*...just found F150 coils on craigslist for $15!!....I think I will do this mod after all. I can get the J clips for $10 each.

I went to my local les schwab and the guy there told me that the camber bushings would snap my ball joints. I don't know what he meant but has that happened to anyone

I did it on one about a year ago. The hose clamps don't really do anything its more piece of mind. Rides like a bread truck, but overall it functions well. I do not remember the shocks we ended up using with it but the stockers are way to short.
