Default leaf spring delema

I use my 04 ranger pretty hard. I haul firewood(often) get topsoil, mulch, and just mounted a snow plow. My rear springs are shot. The bottom leafs are bent down(bent before i bought truck). My question is, should i buy the heavy replacement leafs or go with the middle grade ones(for ride) and get a set of timbrens(for weight capacity). Or should i just get the heavy ones and a set of timbrens.

For example i hauled a load of firewood home today. If i was to guess it weighed about 1600lbs maybe more

i would go with the heavy duty ones, i think it would work better for you in the long run and you wont worry as much about wearing them down, props for actually using your ranger lol.

get a set of chevy 1500 stock leaf springs from a late 80's early 90's truck. You will have to move your front spring hangers forward so that the back holes of the mount are now in the front holes of the frame. Very cheap and easy to do, I've been running them for 3 years now.

^^ LOL Kyle, I would do the standard pack with the ad-a-leaf. I did that with my 93 2wd. Call Pocono 4wd in stroudsburg, they did well by me and put them in at next to nothing. Might as well replace the shackles too.

lol at me?

Chevy swap is super simple, took me a few hours and only cost ~$30. Rides great unloaded and handles the loads no problem.

Is there any specific leaf pack i should get? Are they the same size eyes in the spring? Is there going to be any other mods i will need to make?
