Default Torsion Bars adjusment

I started to adjust my torsion bars today and found out that the driver side adjustment bolt was already maxed. While the passenger side had plenty of adjustment left. The distance to the wheel fender was the same side. Is this normal? and are suppose to be uneven? Please help.

They are generally not the same to compensate for driver and fuel tank all on one side.

Are you positive it was all the way in?

clearly someone already messed with them. so if its maxed out on one side and they are even, and if you are close to stock height, then your tbars are sagging.

yes, one side has a longer bolt than the other.

To fix the sagging you can install newer bars
#1 bars are the best can be bought from ford for about 60 a piece.

All the way in I mean s it you cant turn it at all and the head of the bolt is not sticking down pass the plate.

o gotcha, the driver side was tighten all the way, and was not sticking out but the passenger side was sticking down past the plate. Where is the best place to get the new bars?
