Default Lifted in rear....need alignment???

I put an "ad-a-leaf" in the rear of my 2010 Ranger XL. This raised the rear about two inches and the truck now sits slightly higher in the rear than the front. I also just added winter wheels and four new tires which are 235/75/R15's so they are slightly larger diameter than stock. Truck pulld slightly to the left now and the front has a very slight shake felt in the steering wheel at about 55 Mph. Could the alignment be out and causing the shake?

Have your alignment check also how are your balljoints and tierods? Did they balance the tires correct?

I believe the tires were balanced correctly. I called the garage manager back as soon as I got home to let him know I wasn't happy. He asked me to return it so they could check it. Truck is new! It only has 10,000 miles on it so I don't believe the front end parts could be worn out. I will have the alignment done. I wouldn't change anything I did with the rear springs as it made such a positive difference in the feel and carrying capacity of the truck.

Sounds like the wheels aren't balanced. Trucks alignment should be fine add a leafs don't change alignment at all.

I took the truck back to have the problems checked. The mechanic removed the tires and checked them again. He told me that the two on the front had crooked belts and that they had many problems with these particular tires. Why wasn't I told this before I bought them? I switched to another, more expensive, tire and all is well now. I have no front end shake and only a little pull. I think I'll have the alignment done anyway. Thanks for the help. Dave
