Default torsion lift problems

I have bought and installed a supposedly 3" torsion lift or leveling kit.
After installation and got everything where i wanted it i pulled it out of the garage and it was making a terrible noise in the front end. Evidently with the new torsion keys i cant get it to high or it pulls the axle shafts to far out of front end. Is there something i did wrong or am i trying to get to much out of it? is there such a thing as to much angle on stock a-arms and axles?

the problem is those keys. they are junk man. u need to just take them off and if u want some lift just turn the stock all the way. sorry but u just bought useless shit that are just gunna cause more harm to everything then needed. just go with a body lift man. 200 shipped but not off ebay just google them and u will find complete kits. i was going to by the same shit but i read up and had a friend do it and he fucked his truck up. so i just bought a 3in PA body LIFT and spent 199

What you should have done is cranked or maxed out your stock keys and take measurements of how far it lifted. Then you could install your leveling keys and adjust to same heighth as what your stock were, but now there will be less torque on those tbars.

You can use the keys still just follow the instructions it came with when you say don't crank the bolt down further than the bolt was stock leave about 1/2"-1" bolt hanging out and they should give the "3" it describes. Or you could remove them and get 2"-2.5" of lift depending on how saggy your tbars are.

Personally I hate body lifts since it changes nothing in the stock suspension but if that's what you want go for it.
