Default What size socket

What size socket do you use to take the upper control arms off with?

Get a socket.. and try to put it on there... If it's too small get a bigger one.

If it's too big... Get a smaller one.

If it slides on... Get a wrench.

I'm wanting to say it was a 17mm or 19mm but its been a bit since I changed mine..

im not sure if the arm is the same but it do know it takes the same socket. i did uppers on my buddys 98 ranger 2wd and i used the same socket as i use on mine.

yeah good call. the reason i remember the size so well is because when i did the uppers on my truck i got everything tore off and realized i didnt have a big enough socket, my set only goes up to 18 mm. lol i had to ride my bike down to the auto value to get a 21 mm socket. ha ha

I bought a set of Gear wrench sockets today from work and a tool bag. Along with a auto craft ratchet. 3/8 drive. It only goes up to 19mm. Also I found a grease fitting in the bag that came with the control arm. Will it be ok for a few days with out grease, cause sandman is gonna align it for me. (For free). I'll just get him to squeeze some grease in them.
