well you can get the warn hub conversion, and you still have push button transfer case but you have to manually lock in the hubs outside. as for lockers there are tons of options, it depends on how much you want to spend, and how much you wheel as opposed to on road, and what type of wheeling.

ok so ive made my decisions i wnt to scrap the idea of the conversion kit and i want to do an SAS to my ranger i have found a 76 waggoneer with disk brakes and both axles intact should i use these or use the dana 44 and the 9inch off that f350 i have ? also im not going to worry about if the tires stick out a little its something i can deal with my buddy has a built up 78 chevy and the tires stick out alot on both sides he said hs never gotten a ticket so i think ill be safe for now. so whos done a SAS on a single cab ranger on here that i can talk to ?

----------

ok so some questions i should be asking
what are the best axles to use
should i replace my transfer case
power steering pump what kind should use out of what
oh yeah besides for brandnew bolts and miselanious items most of these parts will be being donated from the JY down the street
lol most important part where do i begin?

What are you wanting to know all SAS's run around the same. Well since you are going with a leaf spring thats gunna make it a bit easier, are you going to run 33's I think thats what you were saying before? one of the things you gotta watch out for on the full widths are where your pumpkin is going to set, the dana and 9in would be a great combo and if you arent worried about your tires sticking out then go for it. for the rear I would do a 64in chevy swap then looking into getting maybe some 3in yoda lift springs for the front. You are going to have to also look at building a spring hanger for the front of your truck.

where to begin, search and read about the other solid axle swaps done here and on other forums

for cost your looking at at least a few grand, like 3-4k minimum

power steering pump from a toyota pickup

best and easiest axle is either a waggy 44 or a EB 44 depending on if you want leafs or coils

lastly read more!
