i tried using the search section but i didnt know how to word it in a short and simple search phrase.... basically when i hit large dips in the road or a parking lot, i hear a sound that sounds like a driving over loose metal plate in the road or something like that, but im not really running over anything...if that makes sense...the sound comes from the front and the rear of the truck

i just replaced the rear shocks and front ones are next on the list. im on a short budget so i really dont want to take it to a shop if i dont have to. the truck is a 2001 xlt 4x4 4 door. Thanks

sway bar bushings? mine did it, I replaced bad/cracked sway bar bushings, if the are not bad u can snug up the bolt running thru the sway bar to A-arm
