If not, point me in the right direction for new ones.

Re: Monroe Shocks..Any good?
My experience with monroe shocks from advance auto is that they are absolute JUNK! I don't know if the shocks you were looking at are the same as what they have to offer or not. These would be regular replacement for the stockers.
If you just need like a stock shock I would highley recommend Gabriel. They are literaly twice as thick in diameter as the monroes and come with lifetime warranty.
I bought mine at autozone, don't know if you have those out that way.
I have the ultras on the front and back, the backs can make the rear ride a little stiff tho, be for me it works out well.
If you are looking for an off road shock, I have used both rancho and I have BDS on my truck now, the BDS shocks seem to handle better with a better damping effect than the ranchos on my ranger.

Those pro comps would probably be ok also.

Re: Monroe Shocks..Any good?
I got a set of Monroe Sensatrak shocks about 10 years ago & they made a huge difference in how my truck feels. Much smoother on the highway. All the labels have worn off now, but the shocks are still as smooth as ever.
The only off-roading my shocks see is when I have to pull off in the yard when somebody is in my parking space

Re: Monroe Shocks..Any good?
I love Monroe shocks. I had a set on my old tahoe.

I had those on my old wagon. They were great.
