Default Brake line issue Need help ASAP!!!!!

i need help. I noticed this on thursday when I put new shocks on the back. The rear brake lines have been rubbing up against the leaf springs and have been chewing away at the brake line. I think i caught it before it completely went through the cable. Any thing I can do as a quick fix for now to stop them from rubbing up against the leaf spring?

I would change out that line right away and at least put a sleeve on it that won't wear through.

Future mods: roof rack to carry a kayak or two
not sure about others - maybe some exhaust mods that won't mess with Cali emissions.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that is the emergency brake cable, not the actual brake line. If that is the case, put a cover over the line. The placement of that line is a really bad design.

its like that on both sides...if it is the emergency cable then im not to worried because i dont even use...if its the actual brake line im kind of scared..even if i put a sleeve over it it will continue to wear away at it...i need a way to temperarily fix it for at least a month so i can save up the money to have it fixed

Zip ties are your friend. Double or triple up on them to hold it back. Just don't pull them too far out of their place.

Like stated before, those are the emergency brake cables. I had to zip tie my cables so they wouldn't rub as well. If the casing isn't broken through, you should be fine. If they are, I would replace them before water gets in and causes the cables to sieze.
