need help with steering knuckle separation from balljoint
Tried almost everything and I can't get the lower ball joint to separate from the steering knuckle. Supported the lower control arm, lots of penetrating fluid, and even rented a separating fork. Been banging on it for hours now and hasn't budged a bit. Suggestions before I have to take it somewhere?

Use one of these. It's so much better than that stupid fork.

Just knock the ball joint out of the lower control arm with the spindle still attached. Then fight with the steering knuckle and ball joint by themselves away from the truck.

It's a pitman arm puller. I was seriously about to punch my truck about a month ago because I couldn't get my outer tie rods to seperate from the spindle. Rented this tool they popped right out.

Never had this issue and I am in the rust belt. Very odd indeed
