If yer gonna drop it, might as well go 4/5". It'll start to look too tall after awhile even there, so might as well go low to start with. Also, 4/5" is about as low as you can go before the major modifications begin, and you still have clearance for rough streets. it does ride a bit stiffer though.

As I said before, if you want the softer ride and leveled, pull the middle leaf out of your rear springs.

you could go to a bag set up and have the best of both worlds with a low ride and able to hall a lot of crap!

The whole air bag thing is expensive and I can't bring myself to heavily modify a beautiful brand new truck. I'm thinking of taking out the middle leaf like you said johnbaum. Does anyone else have an opinion on doing that?

Hi all ..I expect that you all have a better idea than me as this is my first truck but it does seem to bounce around a lot. I thought maybe because it has 124000 on the clock. Should the shocks need changing? It looks like it has been used as a workhorse.

124000 miles is a lot to have a stock shock, you'll definitely notice an improvement if you swap them out. Heck, I noticed an improvement upgrading my stock shocks w/ 40K miles on them to bilsteins...

I love my KYBs. I have loved them on every vehicle I've had them on, with the exception of an '03 Accent. But I didn't like the car, so the struts weren't gonna help.
