Default Torsion Bar question

hey guys i heard if you do something to the torsion bar it will actually lift the truck or something. just wondering what really goes on when you do it and what you have to do to make it lift the truck or level it out AND if there are any consequences or disadvantages. thanks

its in the how-to section.

disadvantages are a firmer ride, and it will wear down balljoints and wheel bearings quicker

It will level it out. 31" and 3" bodylift will clear but the front will sit lower.

Don't do 3" bl and 31s....it looks like a double lifted truck on 33's...not appealing at all. If you're going ot get a body lift and crank the bars definitely get 33s. If you have 4.10 gears you wont have a problem at all. 3.73s is a bit sluggish but its not a big deal, many have done it.

you'll have an enormous fender/wheel gap. I've run my truck like that for about a week when i was painting my wheels and it looked horrible lol
