My "Mod" For The Day

hey guys whats up, just got in from work and decided id post this. First off I want to thank 01 ranger 4x4 for all the help and knowledge he usually gives me and some help from brianjwilson over on RF. This has totally been one of my fav free "mods" you can do but I would only recommend this if you have a 4x4 and really no need to unless you offroad alot or plan on lifting. If you are 2wd and especially lowered, I would say def keep the front sway bar hooked up for cornering purposes. But I decided to go ahead and remove the end links from my front sway bar and see how it rides out. As some of you may know, I have been having awful problems with vibrations and crappy ride especially due to my tire situation that ive posted about before. But it did help especially over the bumps when moving in and out of traffic, over bumps, and turning etc. It really kind of helps soak up some of the bumps instead of kinda having that hard bang feeling and sound through the floor console area. I at first just kinda threw the idea out, and didn't feel like messing with it, but it hardly takes much time at all and the body roll really ISN'T that bad. Its very controlable and doesn't take to much time to get used to it, you just have to keep it in mind when driving. I for instance did mine in the dark holding a flashlight and still using the 2 wrenches, and was running late for work so I only got to test drive it around the backwoods neighborhood and never really got over 40. Then printed some stuff out for school and took off for work, so I def didn't know what to expect and was driving pretty hard from running late and it wasn't bad at all. I think im going to keep mine off, and just letting some members know, if your thinking about it or kinda said no in the past, try it, you might just like it and feel like you came out with alil better ride to. I took mine off also. It's really only a problem at highway speeds 70+ it tends to sway a bit more but the ride smoothness is much much better

oh yes when you get to higher speeds you can kinda tell it wants to sway just a tad because of the outside force being put on it, and the wind, but if you just pay attention to holding the steering wheel firm its not a problem at all. and yes the ride is more comfortable, and the body roll isnt bad IMO.
