Default 2001 ranger: cut frame to adjust camber?

Had my 01 at an independant alignment shop. feller said he would have to cut a notch on the frame to allow the cam to turn to adjust camber. Is this a proper procedure? Thanks for any info

i'm not too knowledgeable on the 98+, but if i was told that, i would turn tail and run. shouldn't be any reason to cut a notch in a frame for an alignment.

No!!!!!

What you need is a cam adjuster bolt assy. It's about $30 last I checked, plus the cost of a LEGIT alignment. That should get you on the right path.
