I was wandering if i could convert my ranger to torsion bars instead of i beams. and how much custom work would have to be done i have a 94 mazda b2300 and i am wanting to convert it to a prerunner but i dont want to worry about the stupid i beams. so what can i do? please do not move this to suspension none ever looks there.

Why would you want to go with torsion bars?

I think that there would be way too much custom work to switch out your I beam setup to be worth the cost. You'd probably save more money just buying a newer truck and going from there.

It would be easier for you to lift it with the I beams than the tosion bars. I had a Bronco and installed an I beam lift, it worked well. They also make I beam kits for pre-runner trucks. Maybe you should look into that.
