Any Thoughts Help!
I have an 03 ford ranger with torsion bar front suspension. I heard that a suspension lift needs custom brackets for the torsion bar mount, and that a suspension lift can cause premature wear on the driveshafts and bearings. A body lift dosn't bother me either, except for the fact that my brushguard is mounted to the frame of the truck, and would probably need some custom cutting and welding to make it fit. What do you think is the better way to go, cost wise in the short term and long term. I only want to lift 3 to 4 inches. Thanks!

Re: Any Thoughts Help!
You positive the brush guard it mounted to the frame. All the ones I have seen are mounted behind the bumper.

Re: Any Thoughts Help!
Just found the install instructions and it would be easy to install a body lift. You wouldn't need to modify any brackets for the brush guard.

Re: Any Thoughts Help!
alright. I'll check that out. Thanks a lot! Another question.... I'm curious about the explorer overhead console. What year explorer was it out of, how much wireing was there, and how experienced do you need to be to do that? I don't want to do exactly that because its your idea, but i want to do something similar.

1995-2000 explorer
wiries are just about 7 connections. The hardest part is centering it up and cutting the hole in the headliner.
It was not my idea many have done it
