Default Raked Ranger

Hi everyone. My truck has a bit of a rake to it (looks like it's leaning forward). A friend of mine told me that you could correct this by twisting the torsion bars. Has anyone tried this before?

Yep, i did it, many many many have done it. No more 2" though. Since yours is 9 years old, there will probably be some sag in the bars so you may not want to go more than 1.5.

Even if you go just 1.5", it'll look close to level just by eyeballing it.

Default Think I Got It

OK so jack the truck up, support by the crossmember under the motor, then do you tighten the bolts that are in the holes in the skidplates at the end of the torsion bars under the doors? I dont have my digital camera or I would attach a photo of what I mean.
