Default 2003 after 12/02 build leaf spring question

I have a 2003 4wd "12/02 after build." Need to replace the right rear leaf spring. It's got a "1K" spring code on the door.

Dealer says the part number 3L5Z5560-SA is discontinued and that the 12/02 "before build" 1L5Z5560-CA for 2002 model years and earlier, and the 8/03 "after build" 4L5Z5560-EB for 2004 and later models will not fit on my truck.

There isn't a wrecking yard anywhere near me that I can get the -SA spring from at a reasonable price. There is, however, a 2008 Ranger near me with a spring code "11KK" on the door. Can I use this 2008 spring on my 2003 "12/02 after build" Ranger?

What's the difference between the 3L5Z5560-SA and 3L5Z5560-EB anyhow? They're both rated at 1,200 lbs.

Any help would be appreciated

A little more info.

Previous posts say the pre 12/02 springs used 9/16" bolts front and back. Since 2003 they use 5/8" in front, and 9/16" in back. Also code "11KK" is the same as "1K".

So now I'm thinking I could get the two rear springs off the 2008 ranger with code 11KK and they would work as long as I get the bolts that were used with them. Worse case would be I'd have to drill out the front hanger 1/16" to accommodate a 5/8" bolt.

Sound right?

Last bid of info:

The leaf arc on the pre 12/02 is 6.5" while the 2003+ is 6.125". 3/8" difference.

Also, the overall length of the pre 12/02 is 56 5/8" while the 2003+ is 56 3/4". 1/8" difference.

I doubt these differences would have that great of and impact.

Bottom line question:

Can I use the 4L54 5560-EA (K) spring from the 2008 Ranger on my 2003 Ranger that now has the 3L54-SA (K) spring?

Help guys!

End of story:

I found a 1L5Z5560-DB (K load) in a local picandsave yard. It came off a 2003 XLT but it was build pre 12/02. For $15 I gave it a shot. I brought it home and measured it up to the 4l5Z5560-SA (K load) spring that I took off my truck. It measured exactly the same. Even the bolts and mounting brackets that I also took were identical. So, I installed it and WALA!!!! The truck rides like brand new! Before the right side with half the middle spring missing was 1" lower in height than the driver's left side. Now both sides are exactly 35 3/4" in height from ground to wheel well. I took it for a test drive and in tracks perfect, no hopping and no braking issues. Replacing the spring with a small cup hydraulic jack is no fun, but very pleased with the results!
