Default Bad cv axle?

Okay so a while back ago, my ball joints were replaced. They had a tear on both of them and i could feel the tire wiggle a little, so I ended up replacing them eith Moog brand ball joints. Afterward, when i went to shake the tire again, i noticed it was still moving back and forth, so I ended up replacing my wheel hubs. They’re PVH kind so all that’s holding it are two washers, no nut. After replacing those rusty things, I went to shake it again and it’s STILL moving back and forth. When I go to pull my tie rod in and out, they dont move so that’s good. But when I shake the wheel, the tie rod does move. Could this be cause i might’ve messed up my cv axle during the ball joint installation? I really beat the heck out of it but i thought they were stronger than that.

define back and forth. where are your hands on the tire? 9 and 3 or 12 and 6?

which BJs did you replace? upper? Lower? all 4?

you could also have an issue with the whole steering rack or the inner tie rods

No matter where my hands are on the tire, it wiggles. It wiggles left to right, side to side, horizontally. And I replaced the lower ball joints

I can also wiggle my cv axle around while it’s sitting on flat ground. I can push it in and out, left to right, all that.

how are the uppers? a little play is normal. have someone else wiggle the tire and look at the inner tie rods/ rack. Its possible you have a bad rack

Upper ball joints I noticed one side has a small tear so I will have to replace them soon. And the rack? Is that the rod from the steering wheel?

no, that is the steering shaft, the rack is what actually turns the wheels and what the tie rods connect to

If you can move the wheel in all directions, most likely the bearing is bad.

If it's clicking when turning it's most likely a worn cv axle.

Okay that’s what I’m hoping it is cause it’d be easier to replace. Here’s what I’m working with. It’s not held on by a nut, it only has a washer holding it and I’m able to move it around.
