The problem is in the question. “Torsion key lift”.

Did you crank the stock torsion keys or buy aftermarket “lift” keys?

Adjusting the torsion bars adds more pre-load to the suspension, which essentially “stiffens” that suspension. This makes it ride like a brick on wheels. Adding to the problem is the fact that if adjust the front end more than 1.5-2” or so, you’ve taken all of the down travel out of the suspension and the upper control arms start smacking the frame. This adds to the rough ride.

The only way to regain ride quality is to back off on the torsion keys.

Yes. The more you back them off the softer the ride will be. How much “lift” did you get out of them?

This is assuming the truck didn’t do this before the aftermarket keys were installed.

Ahhh.

3” is too much adjustment on stock suspension. I bet if you look at your upper control arms they are very close to hitting the frame.

Be sure to get it aligned after you adjust the torsion keys (I would make the shop that did the work do the alignment. Any good mechanic should’ve know what he was doing was wrong).

Happy to help
